1935-37 Twelve Series 2


The Twelve Series 2 was launched in May 1935. Apart from the use of a 12hp side valve engine, this model was identical in all aspects with the Ten Series 2. Initially offered with only a three-speed gear box. a four speed option was introduced in November 1936. Initially fitted with Magna wheels, Easiclean wheels were fitted from late 1936 onwards.

This model shows the paint scheme introduced later in 1936 with the bonnet top/waist paint colour extended down to the running boards.



Saloon (fixed head) Saloon (sliding head) Special Coupe (sliding head Engine: Morris TJ or TSBM 1548cc, 11.97hp(RAC) 4 cylinder side valve
Clutch: Cork insert between metal plates, running in oil
Gear Box: 3 speed (with TJ engine) or 4 speed (with TSBM engine)
Ignition: Coil
