1937-38 Eight Series 2
Introduction
The Eight Series 2 models, announced in September 1937,
featured a painted radiator shell, matching the body colour
and an inner of vertical slats, with three chromium bars. These
replaced the Chromium plated shell and imitation honeycomb features of the
Series 1 models. Easiclean wheels replaced the Magna wire
wheels. Mechanically, the models were the same as the ones
they replaced. Subsequently the rear axel ratio was modified
and the plain hand brake cable replaced by a Bowden cable.
